Everything we know about ‘The Sex Lives of College Girls 3’ by Mindy Kaling

By: Mohnish Singh

After two successful seasons, Season 3 of The Sex Lives of College Girls is highly anticipated by the fans.

The HBO Max series from Mindy Kaling and Justin Noble follows four freshman roommates at the elite East Coast Essex College, where there were illicit affairs, sexual awakenings, and identity crises as Whitney (a star athlete), Leighton (a legacy student), Bela (a first-generation Indian-American with a previously repressed sex life) and Kimberly (a fish-out-of-water poor student) navigated college and their first time away from home.

“Mindy Kaling and Justin Noble continue to brilliantly capture the college experience in the most entertaining and relatable way,” Suzanna Makkos, Max’s EVP of original comedy and adult animation said in a statement at the time. “This series is the perfect balance of comedy, sex, curiosity, and chaos.”

Here’s everything you need to know about the forthcoming season, including who is sadly set to leave the cast.

The Sex Lives of College Girls season 3 will hit the airwaves in the first half of 2024. The same has been confirmed by Casey Bloys, HBO and Max CEO and Chairman, during a presentation on November 2.

In season 2, Pauline Chalamet, Amrit Kaur, Reneé Rapp, and Alyah Chanelle Scott were joined by the following series regulars: Mekki Leeper, Christopher Meyer, Ilia Isorelýs Paulino, Lolo Spencer, Renika Williams, and Mitchell Slaggert.

We’re still awaiting new casting announcements for the third season, but Rapp, who plays Leighton, a wealthy legacy, will appear in a few episodes of Season 3, then leave the show.

Stay tuned for more updates!
